Hello ladies!

A lot of you are going to be spending your weekend brunching away in the open-air in this fantastically warm wintery weather. Although the sun isn’t as hot as it used to be – it is still evil enough to age us 😦 So to make sure you don’t end up looking like the wicked witch of the east by the time winter is over, don’t leave home without your sunblock in tow!

My recommendation this winter is Clarins’ Sunscreen Care Milk Lotion Spray in SPF 50 +. Most brands that offer SPF protection this high give me breakouts – except for Clinique (review coming up on that later this month :). Luckily, I’ve been using this Β spray for over a year now without any complaints and a notable change in my skin – I am very evenly tanned since I have started using this. Also, I’m not as tanned as I could be given the amount of time I spend hiking in the sun at peak tanning hours (between 12 and 4 pm :).

It comes in a spray bottle which I like – I can keep it in your purse/ leave it in the car for use whenever needed.

My only complaint is that it gives a VERY oily finish – it hasn’t caused me any breakouts because it isn’t oily in its’ composition as such. But it gives too much shine on the face post-application. I often dab some of it off with tissue paper to ensure I don’t look like my face is melting off. But that is a problem I face in the summer – in winter its’ consistency works fine.

Oh and since this is ‘water and perspirant resistant’ Β you can use it for swimming sessions too πŸ™‚ wohoo!

I paid a lot less than its’ listed online price when I bought this at a duty free (I paid around 20 to 25 USD if I’m not mistaken while online it is listed for 35 USD). Luckily, it is available locally (Islamabad) so make a rush for the mall before it runs out girls! You know how it is here – once its’ gone, you might not see it again for another year πŸ˜›

The local price is the equivalent of 40 USD (special sales tax for you πŸ˜‰ But don’t worry about dishing out a little extra for this – the bottle is large and mine has lasted over a year and still has around 4 months of use left in it.

Have a great weekend ladies πŸ™‚ stay young (at heart πŸ™‚ )and make-up well until next time πŸ™‚

Love,

WBVANITY

  2. thank you for your message haaalppp πŸ™‚ I am guessing you’re a girl?! Even if you aren’t get your hands on Lancome’s Hydrazen Nuerocalm! See my review here on the following link which also contains order/price details – https://insidethemindofwb.wordpress.com/2014/08/19/moisturizer-time-lancome-hydra-zen-neurocalm-2/).

Like this sunblock, its’ slightly pricey but lasts a very long time so in terms of value for money its great. If you can afford the toner too, it would be great. Don’t apply the toner with a cotton bud, slap it on your face in liquid form (its’ a big bottle so even if you do this it won’t finish anytime soon!) Finally, if the dryness is severe, put vaseline on the patches and make sure you’re taking your vitamins (I’m a fan of flax-seed oil during the winter!). I purchased my flaxseed supplement at GNC.

Let me know if this helps! If you tell me what type of skin you have, I might be able to help you more! Do keep visiting πŸ™‚
